Strikeforce: Nashville Poster

This was a "Poster" I made for BloodyElbow.com's Live Results post for Strikeforce: Nashville that happened this April.

Note that it is made for a website with a white background, which is why the white rounded edges and borders look kinda out of place next to Deviantart's background.

The concept is inspired by this Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Shinya Aokiand his trademark colorful tights, seen here - [link] and here - [link]

He's a Japanese fighter, and the current DREAM lightweight champion, and he tried (and failed) to beat his American counterpart, in the Strikeforce champ, Gilbert Melendez.

The Japanese character reads as "Champion", and from what I understand, could also mean "Domination/Supremacy".
